Rush Darwish is an innovative community organizer with over 20 years of experience spanning the humanitarian, business, and civic sectors. As the President of the Arab American Business and Professional Association (ABPA), he has been instrumental in establishing the Small Business Development Center, which focuses on providing vital resources for women and residents from underserved communities. Since taking office in 2021, Rush has worked tirelessly to transform the ABPA into an economic empowerment agency, a vision supported by the organization's dedicated officers and board members. This collaborative effort has positioned ABPA as a leading resource center for not only Arab Americans but for all residents of Cook County seeking business and professional guidance.

Despite his extensive professional commitments, Rush prioritizes his family above all. He is a devoted husband to his wife of 23 years, Aziza, and a loving father to their two sons, Amir and Adam. Together, they proudly refer to themselves as "The A-Team."
