The Arab American Business & Professional Association, alongside more than 20 community organizations, will host the second Welcome to Little Palestine sign unveiling on Saturday, April 25 at 4:00 PM at Westfield Plaza. Following the first unveiling on Little Palestine Day, April 7, our community encountered instances of hate and rhetoric targeting our culture and faith.
The Saturday unveiling is an opportunity for the community to come together in unity, reaffirm its pride, and rise above hate.
Held during Arab American Heritage Month, this event reflects the strength and presence of one of the largest Arab American communities in the nation, standing together with dignity and purpose. Little Palestine has existed for more than 40 years, home to over 200 Arab-owned businesses across a four-mile stretch from Bridgeview to Worth.
The Arab American Business & Professional Association launched the Little Palestine project to highlight this culturally rich region, strengthen economic development, and increase tourism from outside of Cook County.
