This year, our focus is a transformative Beautification Project in Little Palestine, offering a unique chance for emerging leaders to shape and improve their community.
As an Emerging Leader, you will have the chance to:
- Develop innovative concepts for beautification
- Identify the ideal location(s) for project implementation
- Determine the best path to project completion
- Secure permits and navigate necessary approvals
- Seek funding or resources to support your vision
The program begins on July 7th and aims to conclude with the project’s completion by September 30th. Selected Emerging Leaders will also be eligible for financial compensation, recognizing your leadership and contribution.

Overview of the Emerging Leader Program by ABPA:
The ABPA (Association of Business Professionals and Advisors) introduce a new version of our Emerging Leader Program in 2024, focused on cultivating leadership potential and fostering innovation. This program is designed to empower young individuals to make a meaningful impact within the Arab American communities and beyond.
Key Features of the Program:
Inclusivity
The program welcomes applicants from diverse Arab American backgrounds, including high school students, emphasizing the importance of building leadership skills from an early age.
Continuous Evaluation
Participants’ performance will be regularly assessed to ensure ongoing progress and growth throughout the duration of the program.
Expectations and Commitment
Participants are expected to dedicate approximately 5-10 hours per week over a 10-week period to complete their assigned tasks and contribute effectively to the program.
Accountability
Participants who do not meet the program’s standards and expectations may be removed to maintain the overall pace and quality of the initiative.
Recognition and Reward
Successful completion will be acknowledged with a certificate and will be celebrated at ABPA’s Annual Dinner, highlighting the achievements of Emerging Leaders.
Opportunities for Advancement
Outstanding Emerging Leaders may be considered for future roles on the ABPA Board or Advisory Board and may receive invitations to participate in high-level meetings with top executives and elected officials.
