The Arab-American Business Association (ABPA) is proud to announce our ongoing commitment to expand resources and support for our community. As part of this initiative, we are opening the door for greater engagement by inviting community members to join the Union.
In a collaborative effort with Hire360, an agency renowned for its success in fostering careers in under-resourced communities, we aim to inspire the MENA/Arab American community to explore the trades as a viable and rewarding career path.
ABPA President Rush Darwish has been a strong supporter of the trades industry saying, “We hope this will be the first of many steps to educate the Arab American community about the incredible opportunities available through the Union. ABPA recognizes the importance of forming coalitions with agencies that empower Black and Brown communities. In 2023, we proudly became a Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Illinois Department of Economic Commerce. Additionally, we are a preferred partner with the Cook County Small Business Source and actively collaborate with multiple chambers of commerce and financial institutions to ensure that residents in the Cook County southwest suburbs have access to vital resources.
