The Arab-American Business and Professional Association (ABPA) created the emPOWER Grant Program to support aspiring and emerging women entrepreneurs across Illinois as they take meaningful steps toward turning their business ideas into reality.
ABPA recognizes that women bring tremendous talent, creativity, and leadership to the business community, yet many continue to face barriers when it comes to accessing funding, professional resources, mentorship, and opportunities to grow. The emPOWER initiative was created to help bridge those gaps by providing women with greater access to the support and resources needed to confidently pursue entrepreneurship and build sustainable businesses.
At its core, emPOWER is about more than financial assistance. It is about creating an environment where women feel supported, connected, and encouraged to pursue their goals. Through the program, ABPA seeks to foster entrepreneurship, strengthen professional networks, promote inclusivity, and contribute to long-term economic growth within communities across Illinois.
This fundraiser directly supports the emPOWER Grant Program, helping provide financial assistance and valuable resources to women who are launching, developing, and growing their businesses.
